As we enter 2025 now seems like the perfect time to bring attention to a looming deadline, 14/10/25
As of 14 October 2025, PCs running Windows 10 will still function, but Microsoft will no longer provide the following:
• Technical support
• Feature updates
• Security updates or fixes
While your Windows 10 PC will continue to function, it will be at greater risk for viruses and malware when Windows 10 reaches end of support. We recommend you transition to a version of Windows that is still supported, if your existing device cannot run Windows 11, a new PC that can run Windows 11 makes for an easy transition and great experience. Without monthly security update releases, any new security vulnerabilities that are discovered will not be patched, making your PC less safe.
For both businesses and individuals, this could result in the loss of sensitive data, cyber attacks, or poor system performance over time.
PC’s should ideally be replaced / upgraded every 3 – 5 years, and if you’re running older equipment this update is one you can’t afford to ignore.
